Work has picked up lately and I am starting to write more and more for the business, which unfortunately means less time writing here! I like writing my thoughts down and having a blog to vent and discuss my life. Writing puts it into a different perspective. I’m definitely a visual learner which is probably another reason why I love blogging so much!

I am currently writing my for the messenger at work, a monthly newspaper that basically says what is going on and what’s about to happen! Here’s a hint: Big things are happening at the facility! Woo! I am excited about work finally giving me (an intern= low on the totem pole) some responsibility!

Update on my future puppy: I called PetticoatPoms, the breeder in Texas, to talk more and introduce myself. She was such a sweetheart and she knows so much about her pomeranians! I already knew that I wanted to buy my precious puppy from her but after we talked, I realized how much she cares! She went above and beyond my expectations. My next time to talk to her is October, much closer to the actual time I want my puppy (January). In October, after we talk again, she will update me each week on the litters born, and the mommys-to-be. I’m so excited and I have so much longer to wait! I just can’t wait for my love to finally include a dog’s love.

Saving money- Yes, I am getting a dog so I want to try and save as much money as possible now so that I can have enough to spoil my puppy with. My Treasure Trooper account is going well! I am making a little bit of money, buy hey, a penny saved is a penny earned and I’m earning more than just pennies on that site! I also decided to sign up for GymPact (I think that’s what it’s called) and it’s a smartphone app. It’s great because I work out 4 or 5 times a week and rarely miss so this app tracks my progress and if I complete all of my promised workouts for the week, it gives me money! However, if I miss one day, the app deducts $5 from my bank account! That makes me never miss a workout because I don’t want to be deducted, I want to be payed! The more you work out, the more money you acquire. Want more info on the app or Treasure Trooper? Let me know! I’ll talk about it with you!

Anything interesting or exciting in y’all’s lives? Let me know! I love when others are happy and excited as well.

Sorry I have been away from my office desk for a while. I’ve been at meetings and random outings. But here we go, back on a routine!

“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so you can learn to let go.
Things go wrong so you can appreciate them
when they’re right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to
trust no one but yourself. And sometimes good
things fall apart so better things can fall
together.” – Marilyn Monroe

I decided to put up a quote daily. Somewhat like food for thought. 🙂  It won’t always go with the mood I am in.  The quotes just have deep meaning to me and I absolutely LOVE searching for quotes that really speak to me. So here it goes!!!!

June 10, 2011: Love is a funny thing. It’s an intensely personal yet universal thing. It has a thousand definitions but not one of them gets it exactly right. It’s a feeling. It’s an experience. It’s inside of us yet it’s elusive. We desire it yet we fear it. It’s the central experience of our lives and yet it remains a mystery.  That’s love.

My mom used to read me tons of stories when I was younger. My favorite story, to this day is The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn. It’s about a mother raccoon and a baby raccoon and how much the mom loves the baby. My second favorite childhood book is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. This book is about how a tree loved a little boy so much that she gave everything she had and was content with the boy taking everything because he appreciated her. What are your favorite childhood books?
