I have finally picked out a breed for my new puppy! It will be a Pomeranian. I have also picked out the breeder and started researching things that my puppy will possibly need! I am overly excited to have a pom baby!!!!! 🙂 I don’t think that I will be able to wait until January. However, to be a good mommy to my pom baby, I’ll have to wait until January! Do you have a dog, or specifically a toy breed? Any suggestions or tips that I should know about? Let’s talk dogs!! 🙂

Whistle While You Work July 10, 2013

Work has picked up lately and I am starting to write more and more for the business, which unfortunately means less time writing here! I like writing my thoughts down and having a blog to vent and discuss my life. Writing puts it into a different perspective. I’m definitely a visual learner which is probably another reason why I love blogging so much!

I am currently writing my for the messenger at work, a monthly newspaper that basically says what is going on and what’s about to happen! Here’s a hint: Big things are happening at the facility! Woo! I am excited about work finally giving me (an intern= low on the totem pole) some responsibility!

Update on my future puppy: I called PetticoatPoms, the breeder in Texas, to talk more and introduce myself. She was such a sweetheart and she knows so much about her pomeranians! I already knew that I wanted to buy my precious puppy from her but after we talked, I realized how much she cares! She went above and beyond my expectations. My next time to talk to her is October, much closer to the actual time I want my puppy (January). In October, after we talk again, she will update me each week on the litters born, and the mommys-to-be. I’m so excited and I have so much longer to wait! I just can’t wait for my love to finally include a dog’s love.

Saving money- Yes, I am getting a dog so I want to try and save as much money as possible now so that I can have enough to spoil my puppy with. My Treasure Trooper account is going well! I am making a little bit of money, buy hey, a penny saved is a penny earned and I’m earning more than just pennies on that site! I also decided to sign up for GymPact (I think that’s what it’s called) and it’s a smartphone app. It’s great because I work out 4 or 5 times a week and rarely miss so this app tracks my progress and if I complete all of my promised workouts for the week, it gives me money! However, if I miss one day, the app deducts $5 from my bank account! That makes me never miss a workout because I don’t want to be deducted, I want to be payed! The more you work out, the more money you acquire. Want more info on the app or Treasure Trooper? Let me know! I’ll talk about it with you!

Anything interesting or exciting in y’all’s lives? Let me know! I love when others are happy and excited as well.

Pinterest Problems July 1, 2013

Pinterest is a great website that lets you express your creativity and “pin” almost anything you would like. You can follow an unlimited amount of people and repin an unlimited amount of times. I have become somewhat of a Pinterest addict. I pin a lot. I have over 6,000 pins and over 700 followers. I find so many great ideas from Pinterest. The worst part? I pin more than I should! I pin when I should be cleaning or cooking. I pin workout ideas but spend my alotted workout hour on pinning workout ideas… That doesn’t help me actually work out (shocking I know). I have realized that Pinterest is a double-edged sword. I have found great resources and blogs through Pinterest but I waste my time and energy on Pinterest instead of other productive things.

Have you ever tried making or doing something that you saw on Pinterest? I have recently made my future puppy some play toys! They turned out all right but will probably redo them until I think they are perfect enough for my pup. What ideas have you tried? Anything that you would do again? Let me know!

Continuing with talking about my future dog, I have been finding some great ideas to make some of the dog toys! DIY toys sound like a great way to save money and to have the satisfaction that you put your time towards making your dog happy. Some ideas are fleece or jeans pull ropes, squeaky toys, and other small toys made from scraps of fabric or old toys. Also, great ideas are making treats yourself; you can change ingredients and you know what type of food you are giving your dog. Have any ideas for DIY stuff? Please share and comment! 🙂

I have decided that I want a dog. Not just any dog though! I want a dog that I can carry everywhere. My aunt used to have a Yorkshire Terrier; unfortunately, she passed. I used to love that dog and was definitely upset when it passed away. I love animals and have been saving to buy a dog for a while. Any experiences with Pomeranians or Yorkshire Terriers? Please share!
